Green Team

This is a new school year and the constitutes new things! This school year the Ecology Club (now called the Green Team) is up and raring to go to help keep our brand new school clean for as long as possible.

The teacher in charge of the club Mr. Keating is really enthusiastic about the year ahead in terms of the ecology club and how their goals are coming together. Along with Mr. Keating, the ecology club’s student leaders Nia Weiss, and Mara Johnson are taking charge and making sure the club gets done what it sets out to accomplish. They are pulling everything together, and are doing a fantastic job! The clubs recent accomplished project was cleaning up the two-mile highway strip on 22 that was adopted by the club.

Good job guys!! Next the Green Team is going to begin taking the recycling out for all the teachers in the high school. The group plans to spread awareness to the Saint Peter High School about the dangers of not recycling can do to our planet. Also they are always asking for members to lend a helping hand, so if you are interested all you have to do is go to Mr. Keating’s room on Fridays during Saints Time and you will always be welcome!
